LFireworks are classified as dangerous goods in Class 1: EXPLOSIVE MATERIALS AND OBJECTS. The transport and packaging of all these products is prohibited both nationally and internationally, unless they have the necessary approval processes to ensure the safety of the goods at all times.

REGULATIONS GOVERNING FIREWORKS

The transport of fireworks requires specific approved packaging, with the corresponding certificate for the chosen means of transport. The regulations in force (ADR, RID IMDG, OACI-IATA) for road, sea, air or rail apply.

Depending on the level of risk, these products can be classified as follows:

Packing group I: Substances which are very dangerous
Packing group II: Substances which are of medium danger
Packing group III: Substances which are less dangerous

The level of risk will vary according to the dangerousness of the goods. Explosive substances and articles, of class 1, may be classified in either packing group I, II or III, depending, for example, on whether they are capable of producing a mass explosion when transported, in which case they would be considered more dangerous.

Class 1 dangerous goods packaging requires the combined packaging to have these characteristics:

Certified, complying with the legislation of the chosen means of transport (ADR, RID, IMDG, OACI-IATA) by road, sea, air or rail.
Packaging must be easy to handle and adapted to the product.
They must be safe to prevent leakage or spillage, risk of infection or explosion.

LABELLING OF PACKAGING FOR DANGEROUS GOODS CLASS 1.

The labelling of such products is vital, as it can lead to the refusal or detention of the goods.

The information must be in a visible part of the packaging and must include:

Indicating the risk level of the product.
In case of transport by air, the new label
must be included.

The corresponding Class 1 label

This identifies the material using four digits.
Each product has an identifier code that links it
to its class, corresponding label and hazard
identification number. This information is
provided in different languages.

The UN number

Indicates the type of packaging, the risk,
the maximum gross weight, the country,
, the year of manufacture, the password
and the name of the manufacturer.
